Fantastic. Congratulations.

I don't know if it's because of Darwin's bicentenary but the British Humanist Association seems to be everywhere at the moment. Is this opportunism or a considered campaign? Either way, it's good news.

"Every day I remind myself that my inner and outer life are based on the labors of other men, living and dead, and that I must exert myself in order to give in the same measure as I have received and am still receiving." - Albert Einstein

Richard, you are an inspiration to all of us. I cannot thank you enough for all you've done and continue to do. Congratulations.

I add my congratulations too, Richard. This sort of thing makes me happy for a couple of reasons. Firstly it shows that Richard's efforts over the last few years, especialy considering those subjects that are not his naturaly strong field of biology, are having a real impact in society and are being recognised. Bravo.

Secondly, it's gonna realy piss off a lot of wingnuts.
