I'm not so sure, didn't some judge say the exact same thing?

They know what they are doing.

Who? The people manipulating the system in order to display their obviously religious relics wherever possible. Yes they do.

Firstly, just because it's the internet, is it really necessary to descend to language such as "retarded moron." At least be grammatical and choose one as the qualifier is rather tautologous. Yes, some Christians have the weird idea that the symbol of their religion is pantheistic. Just imagine if the Islamic star and crescent were erected by a group of muslims on government land! Countries in which religious fervour run must high are the places I'd like to live least.

Wasn't it the clever Chinese that invented the christians favourite torture device? Further evidence of the density of the christians.

Scare quotes and all...woooo!

Once you've pulled the stick out perhaps you might answer a few questions.

Descend? What language is that you mean then? The English language? Let's look at it a wee minute....

Retarded:- adjective- a person who is stupid, obtuse, or ineffective in some way: a hopeless social retard.

Moron:- noun- a person having an intelligence quotient of between 50 and 70, able to work under supervision.

'Simple cretin' work any better for ya?

At least be grammatical and choose one as the qualifier is rather tautologous.

WTF does that sentence even mean? And who made you the grammar police?

Yes, some Christians have the weird idea that the symbol of their religion is pantheistic.

Well then, they are stupid. They show an acute ignorance of their own faith.

Just imagine if the Islamic star and crescent were erected by a group of muslims on government land!

What? what? what has that got to do with the price of eggs? Strawman?

Countries in which religious fervour run must[sic] high are the places I'd like to live least.

Indeed.

If the geezer doesn't even understand the symbolism of his on faith then his one *sad bastard and should learn to keep his gob shut and save himself the embarrassment.

That'll be...

Sad:- adjective - unfortunate; unsatisfactory; shabby; deplorable.

Bastard:- noun - something irregular, abnormal, or inferior.

Indians, Assyrians, Scythians, Taurians, Celts, Greeks, Seleucids, Britanni, Numidians, Carthagians all used crucifixion before the Romans. In the 6th century BC, the Persian king, Darius the Great is alleged to have crucified 3,000 Babylonians.

Not sure about the Chinese angle though. Must check it out.

I'm an American Patriot but never related to Toby Keith style flag waiving. I enjoyed this article because it helps me remember that I'm not alone in that view.

Something similar was already covered by Friendly Atheist

The SCOTUS has ruled that the cross is not a Christian Symbol. I would argue this is solely to circumvent the establishment clause, though they say differently of course.

The thing is, if you were to burn the cross, urinate on it or generally degrade it in any way, watch as they scream it's a symbol of their faith. If you try to argue that it's not a christian symbol when they want it to be ... ha.

Just remember that there are also members of the SCOTUS that don't see a problem with accepting gifts from parties with cases being being heard in court and lying about income to cover conflicts of interest. It does not surprise me that such a lie would make it into law by virtue of this court's actions.
