A new billboard is going up in Colorado Springs Monday. The billboard is paid for by the Colorado Coalition of Reason (COCORE), an atheist group. The new billboard will be off of I-25 and Garden of the Gods. The sign will read, "God is an imaginary friend. Choose reality, it will be better for all of us."
It was created by the Boulder Atheists, which is one of the groups under COCORE.
"This type of billboard is hoped will encourage communication between believers and non-believers and everyone in general," says Groff Schroeder with COCORE.
