The Winner of the Ten Point Vision Contest!!

The Richard Dawkins Foundation for Reason & Science announces the winner of our Ten Point Vision contest.

This winning entry is entitled - "Do You Believe in a Secular America?"

The creator, Jared Scheib (facebook), will receive two plane tickets to the Reason Rally on March 24 in Washington DC, where the video will be presented on a big screen at the rally.

The video concisely and eloquently summarizes the Ten Point Vision of a Secular America.

Dr. Elisabeth Cornwell, Executive Director of the Richard Dawkins Foundation for Reason and Science US, said, “Visitors to www.richarddawkins.net voted on their favorite video. We were pleased with all the entries, but we are particularly excited about the quality of Mr. Scheib's winning entry. This video captures the innovative spirit of what we are doing at the foundation.”

Dr. Andy Thomson, Treasurer of RDFRS-US said, “The Foundation is thrilled with this video and eager to fly Mr. Scheib and a guest to Washington, DC for the Reason Rally and a private reception with Professor Dawkins.”

Sean Faircloth, RDFRS-US Director of Strategy and Policy, said, “We are pleased that the winning video, ‘Do You Believe in a Secular America?’ will be projected to the audience at the Reason Rally.”

Professor Richard Dawkins said, “I look forward to meeting the creator of this well-designed video, and am pleased that it dovetails so well with the Ten Point Vision of a Secular America.”

Scheib said, "I’m honored that I was chosen as a finalist and am very excited that my video has been voted the winner among so many great entries. Given the positive reactions from those who viewed it, I am hopeful that the video can galvanize interest in and action for secularism everywhere."

The video will be featured on the Richard Dawkins website throughout 2012.

Scheib said, “I feel that it's critical for people to get involved. I urge everyone who believes in a Secular America to get organized locally, statewide, and nationally. I hope my video [link], which is rooted in the Ten Point Vision of a Secular America [link], can play a role by inspiring further action. Post, tweet, blog, and share it with your followers, family, and friends. Let your voice be heard."
