Amazing!! ONE of these scientists was elected in the USA! - Now? About the rest of Congress!

It happens sometimes! (Like some years back when we selected an electronics engineer for our local UK Member of Parliament.)

Bill Foster, a scientist affiliated with Fermilab, was a U.S. Representative, who is running again this fall.

A wordly well educated politician; well there's a thing; still a faith head though.

But, clearly a thinker and a jolly good chap, what? Although a colloquial and rhetorical question, one that's deserving of an answer I think.

Get the irony; nod nod, wink wink, tap nose side!

Actually, since government is supposed to be in the habit of making laws, I would say it would be handy to have some academic lawyers in Congress. Economists too. What we don't need there are business tycoons and their lackeys.

More scientists, less businessmen!

Thanks for your comments, all. Rush is truly a clear thinker and he has such an accessible way of teaching people to use critical thinking. I'm so pleased to know him and have him represent my district. Believe me, I wish he could be cloned.
