There is another twist which isn't covered here.
According to my daughter, who was an intern at NARAL, if you are interviewed for a job at a clinic that does provide contraception or abortion then questions about your religious affiliations and beliefs are not allowed.
This means that organisations which support planned parenthood may have people in post who can refuse to give you advice on the basis of their beliefs.
