Sorry, but you would not hear news about the Higgs Boson for some time, even if the LHC was in full operation. Vast amounts of data has to be collected and analysed before any findings can be announced. Even if there were several candidates for Higgs production events each day, it would be a long time before the researchers were confident enough to announce anything.
