I think it is great that YouTube has reinstated this video and the ones by fsmdude.
On the subject of the petition, I found myself unable to sign it. I just don't think that it's fair to single out one type of arbitration when there are many others, and that it would be difficult to achieve both politically and legally.
What i think might work is a prohibition against arbitrators discriminating on the basis of things like gender or race. I expect this could hobble some of the worst bits of sharia.
