Well why does there have to be any intrinsic value to the entirety of the universe? WHY must there be objective aesthetics? Why does nobody point out they aren't arguing for objectivity, and though I'll get some snarls I'm sure, I'm only arguing definitions here, but Rand (or Sam Harris)would be arguing for objective morality. Somebody like Hume would argue for subjective morality. The Christians argue for intrinsic morality, and there's a big difference. Saying the universe has a moral code isn't simply saying "I think I could argue that x is truly moral" it's saying it's a priori moral.
