Hmm, y'know, I'd never thought about it like that before. Gay marriage is vital for saving the world economy!
Perhaps I can use this to my advantage. My beloved is an economist, in fact he's just finished working on the recent pre-budget report. I could tell him that it's a gross betrayal of his professional ethics if he doesn't marry me, and thereby save the world economy!
A foolproof plan if ever there was one. Now where did I put that bridal wear catalogue and the honeymoon brochures?
