Fair enough point, although it seems at some point the training wheels have to be taken off. I don't think that its healthy for people to be permanently stuck in fallacious NOMA-style arguments.

Also, do you buy into the "moderate faith gives cover to the fundamentalists" strain of argument (a la Dawkins and especially Harris). While I can see the logic in this argument, I have to admit that I'd like to see Dawkins, Harris, et al expand on and substantiate this point a little more.
