I must admit that this is one thing that infuriates me. Given the evidence that we have now from cosmology and the theory of evolution then the Genesis account simply cannot be true.Now, I always thought that if something had been shown to be not true then it was false. But apparently with religion things cease to be literally true and become "metaphorical" or "allegorical". Why not be upfront about it, the bible is wrong.
