If a pupil gets upset from something said in the playground, a good primary school will bring the issue back into a circle time or assembly discussion.

Once again, I don't know how this can be achieved without, at least in some indirect way, telling one child that their parents are wrong in their fundamental beliefs.

I wasn't raised in a religious house hold and as such I had approached the Book of Genesis with a firm tongue in my cheek.
When told from a friend that I would go to hell if I wasn't a christian.
I just smiled and said "what ever".
But I was sixteen at the time.
I said what ever to everything.
