I'm actually quite curious to see what their media buy was for any kind of promotion.
Here in Canada, or even on US - based websites, I didn't hear/see any kind of communication for this event.
It would be wise of them to actively seek out potential sponsors and engage in tightly targeted promoting.
That would, at least, reach out to the proper types of sponsors for an event like this.
