Steve, is it fair to describe the chemical processes that may be the cause of abiogenesis as evolution ?? I have always considered natural selection as a process requiring one or more life forms, by definition. Therefore evolution cannot operate until abiogenesis has finished.....just my opinion. (I am not a biologist).
