My more cynical nature prompts me to look for a profit motive before a prophet motive, such as it is.
I bet Yale thinks that it can sell more books into institutions that might worry about protests, and doesn't think that the free publicity will hurt it any, either.
Just because religion poisons everything doesn't mean that it's always a direct route.
