You may be jesting, but that was my first impression as well. Before we read too much intelligence in this, I have witnessed the mentally retarded performing strange unique feats of dexterity with no apparent use other than to occupy their boredom from hours of seclusion on the ward. Of course, I donât believe we have really established just how intelligent dolphins and whales really are. Their brains are larger than ours, and you cannot judge their intelligence by accomplishment as they have no fingers and thumbs. They just feed and play in a liquid that covers our globe, possibly quite content to do what many of us wish we could do – really enjoy the moment.
