Attack of the Theocrats!
Seconded (the thanks to Josh). What a pleasure not to have to strain to understand what's being said, as can happen too often. Living outside the States, I was saddened to hear the pragmatic answer regarding the circumstances under which one need not consider oneself dishonest for not mentioning one's atheism. Mention of the Ray Comfort/Darwin "collaboration" made me wonder again about the contents, as I've yet to see this answered adequately. Has anyone exhaustively compared editions to establish what effect Comfort's abridgement has had on content? My worry is that the completely insane introduction may be sidetracking us from the issue of whether the rest of the book has been compromised. What kind of abridgement may we expect from inveterate quote-miners and those who rub shoulders with them?
