anyways, sam is razor-sharp in just about every debate and forum i've seen him participate in. this one was no exception. i agree with what was said above, about dan dennett's frustration being understandably visible. boteach didn't quite get that ignorance is a demonstrable quality. any fair-minded viewer with some knowledge of evolutionary biology would've concluded the same.
one last note, i saw a lot of people in the audience with headsets on, which suggests that there was a live interpreter at the event. just wanted to say.. i don't envy the person with the responsibility of instantly translating any of those speakers--including the theists.
