I was born and raised in the Midwest, live there still, but I consider myself more enlightened than many people who live in either New York or San Francisco. Okay, I admit I'm (pleasantly) surprised that Houston elected an openly lesbian mayor, but I'm not totally shocked. ALL stereotypes must be questioned - always think, never assume.
As for Dave Wilson: He knows, and I know, that there used to be intelligent little green men (and women) on Mars. But life there became extinct because of homosexuality.
