Western part of Australia? Sydney (where I was born) isn't that far west. Neither is Newcastle, where I grew up, or even Melbourne where I've spent most of my life. :)
What I do find is that people who live in the eastern part of the US have more trouble understanding an Australian accent than people on the West Coast, but I guess it will now turn out that Logicel lives in San Francisco.
