So it's 'not polite' to say that we can't understand someone? How is that not polite? It's a simple fact, and how it becomes a character flaw when Americans admit to it is beyond me.

I've been to many English-speaking countries around the world, including Australia, and have never had a problem understanding anyone. The problem here is that Blackford is very soft-spoken (and sometimes indulges in that irritating UK/Aussie habit of fading into inaudibility at the end of a sentence) and the sound in these clips is of inferior quality.

None of this detracts in the least from his real accomplishments, though - he just needs a better producer.
