Did cooking "make us evolve"? What "made us evolve"? Oh for goodness sake - we were evolving for four billion years, because life can't help but evolve. Do they want to know why our species formed by speciation? Because I can promise you cooking didn't do that! Why can't they just say what they mean, e.g. "Did cooking make us evolve high intelligence?" or whatever. Man, I hate Horizon. They never justify their every expanding time slot. Yet this is often as good as BBC science stuff gets.
