I would bet on Simon Conway Morris, because only someone who can spend time in the bizarre wonderland of the Burgess Shale biota, yet still stick to the idea "the Creation (studies are )open-ended and endlessly fertile" (his quote from wiki) shows the kind of mental acrobatics and duplicity deserving of the Templeton Prize. Sad.
