I'd love to think there won't BE a next pope... One can but dream!
I disagree with Peter Tatchell, though, when he suggests that the pope should resign. As Richard has said in a recent Washington Post piece, he is the perfect embodiment of the despicable institution he heads.
Much more to say, but I'm all ranted out at the moment...
