If victims such as these had realised that these were not isolated incidents that could be used by the enemies of the church if everyone didn't close ranks, but widespread throughout the globe and therefore systematic and symptomatic of the church's indifference to everything except its own preeminence, it wouldn't have taken 30 years before someone told a policeman.
