Sometimes it IS, especially whe(BRRRRRRRRPPPP!)n timed correctly. Admit it, even you think the well placed fart or dick joke can be funnier than pure wit, cuz everybody gets a fart joke.
Bodily functions are ALWAYS funny, with the exception of inundation. Anything overdone discontinues to be funny. Seriously, imagine Noel Coward letting one rip during a very witty reparte, and then finishing with, "Well! What do you have to say about that, Sir?"
