I am often reminded of a statement by French philosopher, Alexis De Tocqueville, who studied the new American society way back in the 1830s: America is filled with religious insanity.
In some regions of the U.S. more than others, Tocqueville's insight still holds great truth. But remember, these people do not understand insanity. They relish it!
