← A C Grayling: Why no Asbo for the Pope?

Yes, and so they say some of these big US banks are "too big to fail", well, it seems the same goes for big religious institutions like the RCC. It is too big for the rule of law; in any country it seems. And the Vatican being its own country with its own laws complicates the issue even further. To try to hold the Pope himself accountable for any breach of conduct by those within the organization that he is responsible for is next to impossible as it currently stands.

In my opinion, I really wish the RCC could go extinct. It is an anachronism stuck in the Middle Ages.
