Seems to me that Shermer has gone all "DOUCHY" for a paycheck. He isn't the first and his piece isn't bad...He has, to some extent, sold out. Zeppelin did it when they sold cadillac the song "rock n roll"....The who did it at the superbowl (they should have turned up the amps and played 15 minutes of Eminance Front)...The payday has a powerful pull. In Shermer's defense: if Templeton conacted me to pay me for some written words, I'd feel their inertia as well.
