Attack of the Theocrats!
Great stuff, Paula, as usual!
My complaint to the BBC, just sent.
"In the BBC's coverage of the Pope's recent visit to the UK, commentators and newsreaders have referred to "miracles" as if these were actual facts. The insertion of that wonderful word, "alleged" is called for when discussing such ridiculous and scientifically inaccurate concepts.
The BBC is displaying bias by its failure to distance itself from these minority beliefs, which, like all such beliefs fly in the face of evidence and reason.
I have been disappointed in general by the fawning and uncritical coverage of the visit.
How about a programme based on the book, the Case of the Pope, by Geoffrey Robertson, Q.C. ?
Thank you for reading this email."
