I won't be the last to say this but if all religions turned into something harmless there wouldn't be any complaints from atheists. I don't care what grown adults want to believe and do with their spare time as long as it doesn't harm others.

It does....but personally I remain to be convinced that the evidence against a 'teleological' universe is quite as all-pervasive as some atheists argue. For example 'top down' cosmologies suggested by Prof. Paul Davies don't involve any God at all......yet can shape the universe for our existence. I'm simply not prepared to close the book on the issue..yet...until there really IS decisive evidence on the matter.
