Has anyone read The Family by Jeff Sharlet? The sub-title is: The Secret Fundamentalism at the Heart of American Power.
Oddly enough neither Bush was or is a member of 'The Family', but many congressmen and senior corporate figures in America are. The mission of the 'Family' is to save and then rule the world for Jesus.
It's a frightening prospectus and might be consigned to the annals of looneyism were it not for the profile of the Family's membership. This elite organisation is based in Arlington, just across the Potomac from DC.
I don't know about simply being angry about this thing. Frightened for sure, and deeply, deeply worried.
