Attack of the Theocrats!
This is also just a t-shirt. You don't have to wear it. You don't have to wear it all the time.
I don't understand the whiners here at all. then this place isn't for you anyway, and your complaints are irrelevant Wearing a shirt with a bold A on it is part of an "annoying 'F you, I'm an atheist'" trend? Good grief. How pathetically sensitive are you?
Some people seem incapable of handling even that minimal amount of self-expression, though.
Hmm, a lecture by the "great" PZ Myers to the rest of us undeserving atheists who have the audacity to not work in the Ivy Tower and where there are real world implications as to revealing our atheism. PZ climb down off your horse. It is you who perhaps does not belong here. The Dawkins website mission is to support those in the fold and to support those working their way towards freedom from religion. Please no more of your insufferable and denigrating comments as to who is worthy to be present on this website. I have read all the works of the masters (Harris, Dawkins and Hitchens) and have imbibed every drop with delight. That being said, a large A on your chest will not engage dialogue and is indeed a big FU to the world. Not that I mind it but lets be honest.
So let us not divide our limited numbers by playing God as to who is a worthy atheist.
