@Nerevarine: I doubt it. When a person is rushed to the ER with life-threatening injuries, the surgeons are not going to wait until they find out what kind (if any) of insurance the patient has, and then tailor their skills accordingly. The medical care necessary to ensure her survival would have been rendered before they knew who she was or her insurance status.
Insurance type will probably have an effect on quality of long-term care, but immediate emergency care is rendered regardless of insurance.
