I subscribe to the RSS feed, and this is one of the poorer articles I've read from richarddawkins.net. Yuck. When I first started reading, I thought the writer would be making the case that it wasn't mental illness, but culture, that was the most relevant contributing factor to Loughner's assassination attempt. But instead, the article seems to make the point that acts of violence can never be linked to mental illness at all.
That really needs to be demonstrated first, and really thoroughly, before we are told not to do it. What a weird article.
