Would being called a "Scirea Proofer" not fit the bill, (scirea as opposed to scifi) you believe in 'Science' and 'Reason', also you require 'Proof' before you believe anything.
All religion falls a long way short in the proof department and one should not waste any more of your valuable time convincing yourself and others that you are an athiest.
Just point out where religion is ridiculous IE:- 'no condoms in AIDS riddled Africa' 'fatwah's for cartoonists' 'bible belt revivalism driving politics towards armageddon in the middle east' etc.
