I managed to make it down to "I recognise that consciousness exists beyond time, beyond the individual." and then I had to stop.
If anti-depressants, or alcohol can change consciousness then it's definitely physical (as if there were any doubt) and this dude is just wrong. And I hate his style of writing.
And he needs to just shut up about Dawkins.
