Why I am not surprised at Lion IRC's comprehension skills?
I comment on what he says god does by saying a belief in god subdues people. He responds from the position of non-belief as though that follows in any way at all.
LION IRC: god gives people freedom from shit
GALACTOR: no he doesn't; he just dumbs them to reality
LION IRC: but atheists think that religious people aren't dumbed down enough!
His responses really are that incongruous.
