That was a great piece by Nick Cohen. He’s written articles like that before hasn’t he? Let’s hope he keeps them coming.
I don’t agree with the title though – “Science has vanquished religion…”? Not really. Science has not so much made theism impossible as it has made atheism possible (was it Steven Weinberg who said that?). However, as I’m sure Richard will confirm, writers often have very little control over the titles of their work, so we mustn’t be too hasty in blaming Nick for that.
