Here we have at least an honest admission about what this is all about. It's nothing to do with truth, but it's to do with freedom, or lack of it. That's what it's always been about, and it's why accommodationism is so pernicious: don't allow the truth of evolution to damage religious faith. Allow biblical morality to continue to control the lives of millions.
