Why do fundamentalists insist that “no god means no rules”?
Society must have rules, and if we keep religion out of the rule making process and instead have rules which are thought about, discussed sensibly and which improve over time as we learn more, then we have a chance to make them good rules.
No god doesn’t mean no rules. It just means not their rules.
