Attack of the Theocrats!
I'm a Christian, but I really find this site fascinating. I've known a few atheists and agnostics, so I know that Mr. Dawkins' approach to proclaiming atheism is quite radical, and a bit 'in your face' if you will.
Usually, it turns people off when Mr. Dawkins starts to talk. (Athesists and agnostics included.)
If you want to be taken seriously, show people that even though you're godless, you're good, and warm and friendly. You catch more flies with honey than with vinegar as my dear old grandmother used to say.
Start a charity to help those less fortunate. Start a soup kitchen and witness your beliefs to the homeless. That's what Christians do.
If you have the mentality that only educated, upper crust white people can share your beliefs and not lower class poor people, then you'll always be considered the religious minority.
In Christianity, it doesn't matter what you look like or how much money you make. every person is equal.
God bless you all.
