It sounds like a great book and worth having on the shelf; but publishers are in the book publishing industry to make money - and when has truth ever got in the way of a good story? They sell what they think the market is looking for; and truth and/or skeptism is an inconvenience that doesn't make money for them. So in effect the US publishing empires have slagged off the American public by declaring that the majority of Americans are too dumb or disinterested to read this kind of material. Someone in the US should publish this book and let the American public decide what they want to read.
