Attack of the Theocrats!
Despite my libertarian leanings on economic matters, I accept the truth of global warming. However, I knew this article was going to be bullshit just by looking at the picture that accompanies it. The clueless Fox News conservative going "it's not global warming, it's not global warming" is no more or less rational than the clueless MSNBC liberal saying "it's global warming, it's global warming."
Pundits, not scientists, are the only ones who ever try to connect specific weather events to global warming. Reminds me of Cindy Sheehan blaming Hurricane Katrina on Bush, because he hadn't done enough to toughen emissions standards. New flash: heat waves and hurricanes existed before the human species even evolved. Taking each instance of unusually hot weather or drought and blaming it specifically on human activity is ridiculous and only serves to bring us down to the level of the denialists.
