Yeah the soulless suburban sprawl is. Not a lot of great art using this subject matter.
There is still lots of room for "urban decay to create deeply moving, socially conscious works of art" Driving home I was thinking that someone should collect the massive amounts of tire treads scattered all over the highway because of all the blow outs from the heat (I saw a couple blowouts yesterday) and then create some art or even recycled purses or art objects.
