Yes, isn't He a trickster? This God would much rather prove the scientists right than help devout members of his own flock who are actually in need. The experiments were double-blind and performed using people (including Christians) in the hospital that REALLY needed help, my friend.
I suppose His sacred reasoning is that if a Christian is part of a prayer experiment, then he isn't worth helping. That will show those scientists who is boss.
No, Professor Stenger is most certainly correct. This God either doesn't exist, or He is a real stinker.
