Piffle. The decision as to who gets a certain job or promotion is relative, for instance, and decisions like these affect millions of lives every single day. I don't see any largescale public outcry over this, do you?
The "common good" is something I'm willing to accept, as long as it is based upon evidence and reason, and doesn't involve fictional deities.
