Mmm 'boy' scouts.. apart from that, scouting is an experience for life, for everyone, live and learn, overcome your differences, work together and grow. I'd wish that I had more time to volunteer than I do have at the moment...
More on topic, this sea scout can only point to the Netherlands and France, afaik the only countries where a new member can promise to be good for goodness sake, without any delusional requirements...they're your fellow scouts too.. not to be evangelical, but...spread the word :)
