He's right about atheism being the new cool. It's like a badge that a certain type of snarky celebrity will wear to gain distinction from the crowd ~ you can spot it when you look at the rest of their lives & find that they harbour irrational beliefs about just about everything else. Atheism is (for me) part of a world view that requires me to examine everything anew ~ not a badge
I feel sorry for Skinner ~ he's notably hard on himself & a pretty honest guy ~ with some huge blind spots
